A private investment firm decided to invest in its own art collection in order to magnify their headquarters and reflect their process of profound and sound investing throughout the space.
We, along with Gloria Moure, our house curator, spent weeks sourcing and building a small but cohesive collection of established icons and unknown artists. The art collection along with the social impact grant it generated reflects not only the sophistication of the firm but also their altruistic nature of doing business.
To use art to inspire their working space while keeping with their on-going commitment to the local community and social impact.
Research | Our goal was to understand the client’s initial motivation, space requirements, budgetary guidelines and social impact goals.
Art Collection | Our house curator set out to find a couple of well-known pieces and source lesser known artists from Barcelona to reflect both global sophistication and a commitment to supporting the local art scene. In addition, the office has a significant library and it was important to showcase books with well-known artists, poets, architects and the like. Over the coming weeks, we unveiled artistic works from well-known artists, Jaume Plensa and Jan Dibbets and pieces from Barcelona-based artists José Alcañiz and Veronica Escudero.Gloria brought in a small collection of art books from her own editing house that created a unique space for employees and clients alike. The works brought the office together in more ways than one.
Internal PR | While the firm was not looking to pub
licize their efforts externally they inadvertently created a great story and conversation starter for new and existing clients as their art collection speaks about their values of building up and creating strong companies that keep giving back to the community.
This firm’s workspace has become a beautiful showcase of pieces reflecting their values thus enhancing the experience of a clearly motivated team. At the same time, they know their efforts resulted in collaborating with this year’s philarthropic’s commitment to mothers2mothers.
