FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
I’m a photographer and have been aware of space since I can remember. My love of architecture combined with my craft had me photograph spaces and create visual concepts professionally for over 25 years. But, I have always kept photography as my personal means of emotional language. I believe in beauty as a healing tool and I want to share that process with as many people as possible.
I believe in a virtuous circle where every part counts. I want to be a part of something bigger. I need to feel like it matters. It does. To me.
FOUNDER & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Pacific Northwest, USA
After living in Barcelona for two years, I’m now back home in the Pacific Northwest of the USA and excited to bring Philarthropic stateside. Our projects allow me the opportunity to work on unique endeavors with creatively brilliant people while funding social impact grants as a business norm. It also gives me an international platform to bring together artists, non-profits and businesses and stay connected to Barcelona and the rest of the world.
After many years of working for media giants like Discovery Networks, Viacom and NBC Universal and, in the last few years, engaged closely with artists and creatives in developing their sales and marketing strategies, the ability to use my experience to connect the dots between profit and purpose is not only professionally fulfilling but emotionally necessary.
Ever since I was a child, art has been one of my passions. I grew up in a family where art was not only a means of expression, but a vital experience. I believe in the capacity of art to transform lives, to humanize and sensitize, as well as to make us aware that it’s in our hands to make things better. Both as an entrepreneur and throughout the more than 9 years I spent at MACBA Foundation (The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art), my professional and personal life has always revolved around art.
The way that art can change society is something that really moves me, and that’s why Philarthropic brings together everything I am looking for: art, emotion and social impact. With that combination, we’ll be able to help those who need it most. Is there anything more reassuring?
Delighted with Philarthropic since the very first moment, and feeling in harmony with its principles and values, I join the team believing in the power of art as a tool for social change.
Because art has changed many people’s lives. It changed mine.
In 2017, I co-founded Voces del Barrio ↗, a socio-cultural and documentary non-profit program dedicated to developing artistic workshops in Latin America.

ART & CONTENT
I’m elated to be part of such an amazing project at this moment in its trajectory. It’s important to feel like the work you do has purpose, and the ethos of Philarthropic gives me just that. Having taken on many roles within the arts (artist assistant, gallery archivist, and even technician for a professional fine art print studio), I’m inspired by Philarthropic’s innovative model.
Art is a powerful tool. It isn’t just about beauty, it’s about passion and life. As an artist and writer, I have seen first hand the real connection that people can make with art. Bringing it hand in hand with social impact is truly a logical step for me. This is the project I was looking for.
Flor spent 10 years as a photo editor and journalist with Conde Nast. Her artistic sense and keen interest in understanding, knowing and supporting people through art led her to pursue a career in art therapy. Through her efforts she assists children and adults with mental and physical disabilities, terminally ill patients and those coping with addictions.
Flor is our invaluable connection to creating an art therapy network throughout Europe to research and fund profound therapeutic projects, techniques and content.

With an impressive resume, Gloria is behind some of the most brilliant exhibitions of contemporary art. Always looking for that story beyond the artwork, this is her chance to perform her magic, not only for corporate and private collectors, but to help others through an artistic perspective. Gloria advises and works on private client projects.
BRAND & STORYTELLER
He has years of experience in helping build Wordsearch, one of the most relevant property communication agencies in the world. Branding extraordinaire and good friend, he gave us our name and serves as our “brand guardian”. He guides the way we communicate and express ourselves as a company and we trust him implicitly on all things creative.
Born in Mexico City, Santiago started working and experimenting with photography at age 18. Over the years, as a multidisciplinary photographer, producer, editor and collector, he has created the Grokphotography Collection of unique secret archives and never seen before vintage photography. As a partner, he graciously opened the doors of this massive vault to share with philarthropic and our clients.
Despite being a world-scale genius photographer, Jordi still beams with excitement before any potential project. He listens wide-eyed while making a million connections in his head. He then goes on to create and execute.
He travels the world and tells you about it with magnificent and beautiful images that yet maintain a human scale that reminds us of the person behind the camera.
We wanted him in our circle. We knew he would say yes. Jordi is ready to be part of something bigger and use his talents as a motor of transformation. We are honored and happy.
Founder of Artaid.world, he is not only a talented portrait, documentary and fashion photographer but also philanthropist and friend. Aidan, like us, realized long ago he should put his craft to the service of others. He has been using his photography to raise awareness for humanitarian causes around the world. We recurrently meet Aidan in a different African country where we document the work of mothers2mothers.org, an organization dedicated to preventing pediatric HIV.
French photographer, Antoine Passerat, lives and works in Barcelona. After nearly 10 years balancing his career as a photographer alongside a career in marketing, he decided it was the moment to dedicate himself fully to his photography.
Since then, he has taken on numerous corporate and institutional photography projects, and he has been pursuing his unique perspective as a photographer.
His recent work is primarily focused on masculine behavior, gender stereotypes, and the need for physical and spiritual connection.
From Ireland to Santiago to Barcelona and back. Maria has learned from the world and from the best on how to conceive beautiful spaces where everything and everyone finds their place. She makes an art out of placing artwork and always seems to find the perfect piece for the perfect space.
LAWYER & VENTURE INVESTOR
His love for art and commitment to social impact make Gonzalo, our dear friend, our perfect advisor. He is always looking to support, to connect, to help out any initiative that will make Barcelona and the world a better place. His collaboration is already part of this project’s DNA.
For the last 20 years, EGM have been part of the most important and interesting projects we’d previously undertaken. When we first brought the idea of philarthropic to the table, they were just as excited and motivated to be part of the project as we were. Beyond being a world-class quality printing lab, they are problem solvers, facilitators and trusted and loyal partners.
